Walk it off

Moving right along we are in the 2nd week of July already. Propaganda holiday is in the rearview and I guess that means its officially Halloween season right? I am sure the stores will agree with me. I may be feeling salty this morning, or I have not drank enough coffee. It’s hard to tell.

This weeks comic was my attempt to keep the theme of Lu and Dag light and carefree. It is difficult considering the absolute mess the country is in right now. But he is a kid and they can enjoy their summer without worrying about the nonsense of the adult world.

So, reports from the art desk, I have my main character sorted, his look and many iterations of his clothing combed over. I am working on his sidekick robot at the moment and plan on doing some concept art scenes to give a better idea of what they look like in movement and action. Something more than the static t-poses. I do my best thinking while out for my evening walks, I have alot to work on so I am racking up the mileage. Wearing my sneakers thin. All good though, the exercise and thought process are helping alot. I also find that walking helps with the stress of the news. It doesnt fix any of the problems of the world but it lets me at least take a full breath if I have been thinking about it too long.

I want to believe this is going to get better. I really do.
