Gremlins in the machine

This past week has been more productive in regards to art exercises and sketchbook work than the last 6 months. That sounds impressive but I think it may also be a commentary about how off track I had become over the winter. No shade cast at the past, wouldn’t help anyways. No instead I can say I am pretty happy with my current path. This morning I spent a good 45 minutes developing some characters for a product I am working on. It feels good to spend my morning before the day job getting actual progress on my goals. More to come on that, down the road though.

Dag has finished his story, one more strip to tidy up the ending and bring the focus back into the woods with the boys. After that it’s on to more adventures with the pair of them as well as their friends. I am thinking of exploring Mori a bit more, I think she needs some time in the limelight.

The Gremlins I am mentioning in the title here are a combination of the characters I was working on this morning as well as the ones that live inside my car. It has been an interesting week, nothing out of control or that I couldn’t handle but somebody was clearing chewing on parts of the car at some point.

I started my Starforged script generator game, gotta say I am loving it. The story is already rich, and the world engaging. Crazy thing is, it’s all me still making things up, I am just doing so with some prompts. Highly recommend the game to anyone that enjoys journaling and telling stories.

I am reading the Slight Edge at the moment, I can say I am enjoying it perhaps a bit more than most of that type of book that has slid across my desk. Maybe I am in the right mindset though to engage with it more.

Current events caught up, I am working on a plan to bulk up the website store and plan on offering discount codes to subscribers once I have a more robust selection.

If you are a subscriber/supporter, I thank you

Have a great day folks
