A chill in the air

It is August still but man it was chilly this morning. My heater is running to keep the house at 65. Leaves are falling past my window as I bundle up in my fleece sweater. I love it, bring on the Autumn.

Last week my blog was without explanation an exert from some of the world building I am doing for GrungePunk. A very abbreviated version of what led humanity to escape the solar system and travel among the stars. I may do more of those as time passes, partially to explain what I am working on but it helps me to sort of verbalize(in writing) a few of the more complex ideas I am trying to incorporate. The mountain of ideas and tasks and background work I am trying to climb in order to even get started on the comic is not getting any smaller. I am still plugging away on it though. Sometimes the blank page is a bit of a rough ascent. I like to think though as the weather cools that it will become easier to spend more and more time at the desk indoors, working on creative projects. I do love Summer but it is a time distraction and tasks, and events. Hibernation for us means all the time in the world to spend on internal projects.

Rambling a bit, yeah I am guilty of that

So what else is new this week? I drew a Bearded Dragon character that I will share and a Tank Girl that I will not share. Making odd little guys is far easier than human characters especially when you want them to look cute and dangerous and not so much like Linda Belcher with a shaved head. Maybe that is the style…. It was not intentional.
